Hello friends! If you have been reading my blog for the last couple of months, you could probably tell I have been in a bit of a creative rut. So I decided to do somethings to get myself out of it. I signed up for the Simon Says Stamp Card Kit of the Month. I started surfing youtube watching videos of my favorite stampers to see what products they were using. So I found a couple of new-to-me stamp companies that I am really loving lately! The first one is Wplus9.....I love the many different flower images they have. Here is a card I created using a new stamp set from Wplus9 called Kind Soul .....
I stamped the image along the bottom of a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock using Timber Brown Staz-on. Using my Spectrum Noir Sparkle markers, I colored the images. I added a bit of super light blue behind the flowers and then I cut along the bottom of the stamped piece. I stamped the sentiment onto white cardstock using embossing ink and gold embossing powder. After I heat set the image, I cut it out. This was actually a pretty simple card to make except for the coloring time. Of course, I have been enjoying the time it takes to color images as it really relaxes me! You should try it!
