Yes you read that right! Now is the perfect time to start making Christmas cards. If you make 4-5 a week and there is about 8 weeks until it is time to mail the cards, you could have 32-50 cards made and not have to pull a late night marathon just to get your cards done BEFORE Christmas!
I received the Authentique Tradition collection in my goodie box from Scraptownlady a few weeks ago. The colors aren't real traditional but I picked two of the sheets I liked best from the collection plus I used a sticker sheet and the Enhancement sheet to make these cards!

I used some really red and whipped cream cardstock for the bases of my cards. Plus included some of these cardstock on the actual cards. Here are a few close-ups!

Whipped cream cardstock is the base of this card. I used the really red as a layer. I used a scalloped punch along the edge. The sentiment is a sticker from the Authentique Tradition collection. I added alittle bit of ribbon but hopefully it won't make the cost of postage too much!

I cut 1 1/2" strips of these two patterned papers and measured them for my cards. I have plenty of strips left to make more cards, too! I will run out of stickers but I am sure I can find a stamp in my collection that will work with this card!

This is a one-of-kind card because there is only one of these stickers on the Elements sheet. But you could use just about any decoration in the middle of this card like snowflake die cut or tree die cut!

This is a simple card using the sentiment panel from the Enhancements sheet included in this collection. Like one of the other cards, you could replace this with a die cut or cute stamped image to make this card.
All of the seam binding came from the Scraptownlady store, too! Like I said, I don't want to pay extra postage and I think I did it. I am going to put them in an envelope and take them to the post office to be sure. But I will say that during the Christmas season, the post office is a little more lenient...shhh don't tell on me! LOL
Hope I have given you some great ideas for making your cards. Even if you wait until the last minute, you can whip these out quickly!
