Hello Friends! This is my last week as the October Guest Designer for Our Daily Bread Designs. I have had alot of fun creating with the beautiful stamps, dies and paper that Our Daily Bread Designs sent me and want to say a special thank you to Kelley and Lisa for having me as a guest designer.
For my last project, I created a scrapbook layout of two of my daughters. I wanted to show off the beautiful doily stamp and die plus show that you can still scrapbook even if the patterned papers are small!
To start I found some coordinating 12 x 12 cardstock in my stash that matched the color scheme of the Soulful Stitches 6x6 paper pad. I cut about 3/4" off of 2 sides of a piece of 12 x 12" ivory cardstock. Then I distressed the edges and sponged some Tattered Rose distress ink. Using Versamark ink, I stamped the Doily Blessings stamp and sprinkled on some white embossing powder. After I heat set the embossing powder, I sponged some more Tattered Rose Distress ink around the stamped image. Then I added the little bits of lace at the tear spots and glued the ivory cardstock to the burgundy base. I die cut 2 of the Doily Dies from the same color of the base cardstock. I also matted the photo with this same color cardstock. I added some of the patterned paper and the doily die cuts into place as shown. I made some rolled roses from the patterned paper and hand cut the leaves. I glued these rolled roses onto some Melissa Frances Zipper ribbon. Then I started putting everything down on my layout....including that wonderful flower from Prima. Here are a few close-ups......
I have had a such a fun time creating with Our Daily Bread Designs and sharing my projects with you this past month! Thanks for stopping by and seeing what I have created!
