A Colorista Blog Hop!

Hello friends!  Today I am so excited to share some exciting news with you!   On August 30, Sara Davies will be on HSN and will release the new Spectrum Noir Colorista line.  Spectrum Noir Colorista is a collection of alcohol markers, wax-based colored pencils, paper pads & card-making kits designed specifically for enthusiasts of adult coloring.   The whole line is just awesome.  The Colorista Design team has gotten together and we are doing a blog hop to celebrate and give you all some sneak peeks!  Be sure to comment on each blog for a chance to win some cool products from this line.  So be sure to check out the blog hop link list below,  comment on the blogs and then check the Crafter's Companion US blog on August 29 to see if you won!

 Here is my project for today's blog hop!

Coloring can be alot of fun but I am sure you wonder what you should do with the pages you colored, right?  Well, I decided that I loved the flower from the Natural Beauty Foil Accent Colorista Pad, so I colored the flower and then fussy cut out the flower.  Here is the page I colored the flower and the Colorista Markers I used.

 I still have the rest of the page to color and use in my card making.  As you can see, the best part about the foil accent pages are that not everything is foil....there are some plain ink parts.  That just makes the foil sections look so neat!  Here is a close-up of my card.............

 I used the All Glammed Up Collection for the papers and I used the Botanic Butterfly from the Butterfly Medley collection for the flower.  The die in the middle is the Raindrop on Roses die.  The All Glammed Up Collection just reminds me of Emma Lou!  LOL
