Gold Holy Family Cards

Hello friends!  Did you have a good time shopping on Black Friday and Cyber Monday?  I know I sure did!  I had a set budget I could spend on some crafty sales and I blew it after just visiting two websites!  LOL  I bought some super cute stamps and dies from Neat & Tangled and then I bought a bunch of cardstock from Stampin' Up!.  It doesn't seem to matter who I work with or who I puchase stamps from, I always end up back with Stampin' Up purchasing the cardstock.  It's just the right heaviness and the colors are always just right! 

Speaking of Stampin' Up....do you have a favorite stamp set that is retired?  Well I used my most favorite set to create some Christmas cards for my family to send out this season.

I embossed the Holy Family image using gold detail embossing powder and backed that with gold mirror cardstock.  I added an embossed panel of snowflakes and more mirror cardstock plus the ribbon and sentiment to complete the card.  I think these are so simple and elegant.  But most of all the reminder that Christmas is all about Our Savior's birth is the best part of this card!
