Hello friends! Remember I told you about the two boxes of Crafter's Companion stuff I had waiting for me in my last blog post? Well, I finally got the creative energy to actually open the boxes and started making some stuff. All of these projects that I will be sharing with you for the next couple of days will be on the August 15 HSN Crafter's Companion crafty day. I had alot of fun creating and that hasn't happened in a while. Here is one of my projects!
The patterned paper is from a new Crafter's Companion 12 x 12 Decorative Christmas paper pad. Plus I used the Silver Mirror Luxury Cardstock. I also used my favorite white cardstock which is the Crafter's Companion Ultra Smooth White Premium Cardstock. I use it for almost every card. The sentimental die comes with 4 sentiments in the pack plus each sentiment has a backing matt. So I die cut the backing matt from white cardstock. I applied some Stick It! adhesive sheet on the back of the Silver Mirror cardstock then I die cut the sentiment. Using the Stick It! really helps to adhere such a delicate die cut onto the white cardstock.
This card measures 5 x 7". Because I added the bow, it will cost more to mail but I think you could definitely forgo the ribbon and it would still look great. But I think it might just be worth the extra postage! LOL
Thanks for stopping by today! I will be posting a few more projects for the next week. Be sure to check out HSN on August 15!
Very pretty!
