Hello friends! It's Heartfelt Creations Wednesday. This week, we have some special projects to share with you. Heartfelt Creations will be releasing some amazing new products on Black Friday and today we are celebrating with a Heartfelt Creations Designer Blog Hop! To start at the beginning of this blog hop that means you will go to Candy Slabaugh's blog. If you are starting here on my blog, you should go to Candy's blog to get started. If you are following along the hop, that means you have come here from Amarilys Doria's blog. You don't want to miss any of the blogs on this hop because there will be a wonderful prize you could win. The blog hop starts today and goes thru Monday, November 28 at 11:59pm. The winner will be chosen from random from comments left along the way on the blog hop.
Here is the prize you could win......
For today's project, I created a fun Christmas card using one of the new 5x7" White Fold Out Card and the Celebrate The Season collection. I love how it turned out plus since the base was ready for me to decorate, it was kinda quick!
Here is my card opened up...
- HCCF1-444-2 5x7 Fold out Card – White
- HCDP1-268 Celebrate the Season Paper Collection
- HCPC-3747 Celebrate The Season Cling Stamp Set
- HCPC-3745 Ornate Sleigh Sling Stamp Set
- HCD1-7120
- HCD1-780 Ornate Borders and Pocket Dies
- HCD1-7106 Celebrate The Season Die Set
- HCD1-7104 Ornate Sleigh and Presents Die Set
- HCD1-745 Luggage and Tags Die
- Memento Ink Pad – Teal Zeal
- Deluxe Flower Shaping Tool Kit
- Art Glitter Dries Clear Adhesive
- Art Glitter Metal Glue Tip
Other Products: Embossing & Watermark ink; Nuvo Silver Moonlight Glitter Embossing Powder; Heat Tool; Silver Mirror Cardstock; rhinestone stickers, glue dots, sponge
This fold out card measures 5x7”. Using the new fold out card bases makes this card fun and easy to make! First I cut some silver mirror cardstock to fit the back panel and added a piece of patterned paper from the Celebrate the Season Collection. Using one of the edge dies, I cut strips of silver mirror cardstock for each fold out portion. I adhered this behind each fold out edge. I added more patterned paper to each fold out. I die cut a circle of the matching patterned paper for the second fold out. I also found a sentiment panel in the paper collection that I thought was perfect for this card and adhered that to the back panel. Behind the sentiment panel, I used the Ornate Scrolling die to die cut the Silver Mirror Cardstock and adhered that onto the back panel.
I stamped the small and medium poinsettias onto white cardstock using embossing ink and sprinkled on some silver glitter embossing powder. After I heat set the images, I used the matching dies to die cut them all out. I ended up creating 4 medium and 4 small poinsettias. I sponged the holly leaves with Teal Zeal memento ink pad and adhered them to the back of my flowers. I used the deluxe flower shaping kit to shape the poinsettias and leaves. I used glue dots to adhere the flowers and leaves together and to adhere them onto the card.
To complete the card, I cut out a sentiment and cut it into a banner and added it to the front panel of the card. Plus I die cut a sentiment ticket using the Luggage and Tags die set and added that to the card.
Here is the full blog hop list:
Be sure to leave comments on the way thru the hop! The prize is totally worth it! Thanks for stopping by today and good luck!
