Hello friends! This is my second blog post for today. But this one includes blog candy!! The Craft Hoarders are finally back with a blog hop today. Starting this month we will be hopping quarterly from now on. The good news about this is that most of us will be able to offer some blog candy for these hops! Woo Hoo! So grab yourself a cup of coffee and pull up a chair. This will be such a fun blog hop with beautiful projects along the way. If you didn't start at the beginning of the hop, please hop on over to Gloria Stengel's blog and check out her project and the blog candy she is offering. If you are following along on the hop, then you have come from Marisa Job's blog.
Here is the prize you could win!
Included in my blog candy prize is the Heartfelt Creations Ornamental Die add-on set; Heartfelt Creations Festive Ornaments set; Hero Arts Stunning Snowflakes background stamp; Tonic Studios Nuvo Pure Sheen Light Gold Glitter & Garnet Red Glitter Paste. I will add in a few "mystery" items, too.
Here is my project for today's hop.....
For my project today, I created a 5 1/4 x 5 1/4" card using the Santa's Sleigh die from Tonic Studios USA. I love the embossed detail on this die. I also added some flowers I die cut from the Radiant Roselily die set and some holly leaves from the 138E Mini Wreath Decorations Die. The brushed gold cardstock was from my stash and I am surprised it didn't have dust on it! LOL I used the an A4 Embossing Folder - Martha for the gold layer. In the center of the flowers, I added some Golden Crystal Glimmer Paste. Here is a closer look.....
I really love how this card turned out. It's simple yet elegant and that is just what I love to create. So now it's time to leave your comment here on my blog. I have included a list of all the blog hop participants at the bottom of this post.
Thank you so much for joining our Craft Hoarders hop. To win my blog candy all you have to do is leave me a comment. I will close this blog hop on Sunday, October 9 at Midnight Central Time. To claim your prize you will need to email me at [email protected]. The winner of the blog hop will have 72 hours to claim their prize otherwise another name will be draw. So good luck and have fun!
