This week's Heartfelt Creations project is a side step card. I thought the pine tree stamps and dies from the Snow Kissed collection were perfect for this type of card.

Instructions: To create side step card base, cut a piece of white cardstock to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches. Line the cardstock up long ways in the paper cutter at 3 inches and cut from the 1 inch mark to the 6 1/2 inch mark. This will give you a 3 inch side and a 2 1/2 inch side. Turn the cardstock vertical and score the 2 1/2 inch side at 4 1/4 inches. Turn the cardstock to the 3 inch side and score at 1, 2, 3 1/4, 4 1/2 and 6 1/2 inches. Now fold the 4 1/4 inch score line down to create the side step. Then you will mountain and valley fold the right side of the card to create the steps.
Decorate the big side step using papers from the Snow Kissed collection. Cut the Border Essentials die from white cardstock and adhere into place along the front bottom of the card. Tie the ribbon as shown.
Stamp the trees onto green patterned paper from the collection using Iced Spruce distress inks. Die cut them with matching dies. Sponge around edges of trees using the same ink. Adhere the trees into place using 3D foam squares. Stamp the sentiment onto white cardstock using black ink. Cut out the sentiment using the rectangle die from the Cut Mat Create 1A die set. Adhere the sentiment into place. Add the sequins and rhinestones on the trees to complete the card.
I hope you will give this project a try. I really love the side step card and it's super easy! Thanks for stopping by today!
