Hello Friends! Today I have a fun project to share with you using Tonic Studios dies. For today's card I used the Sew Pretty- Have a Beautiful Day Circle Frame and Pinhole Square Layering Die Set. I love to create a square card so using these dies was so much fun for me!
To begin this card, I cut a piece of 8 1/2 x 11″ Kraft cardstock to 5 1/4 x 10 1/2″. I scored it at 5 1/4″. Before I folded this base, I used the #525E Sew Pretty Pinhole Nesting Square Layering die set. I found the size die in the set that would be just around the outside of my card and ran it thru myTangerine Machine. I cut the dotted paper to 4 1/2″ square and then the flower print paper is cut to a 4 1/4″ square. I used the Pinhole Nesting square die on the flower print square, too! I love the look it gives. I die cut the #1227E Sew Pretty Have A Beautiful Day die from burgundy cardstock and the sentiment is die cut from cream cardstock. I also die cut a scalloped oval from the #485E Mixed Oval Layering die set. I added the seam binding bow to complete the card. Here is a closer look at my card.
Here are the supplies I used to create this card:
- Tonic Studios Dies – #525E Sew Pretty Pinhole Nesting Square Layering die set, #1227E Sew Pretty Have A Beautiful Day die, #485E Mixed Oval Layering die set
- Papers – Kraft & Cream cardstock; Garden Journal – Bo Bunny patterned paper
- Misc – seam binding ribbon, 3d foam squares, Funky Glue Pen
Thanks for stopping by today!
