Hello friends! It's the second Wednesday of the month and that means it's time for a new release from Heartfelt Creations! Warm breezes blow, busy bees buzz from blossom to blossom, and perfectly shaped, ripe berries beckon you as you catch a glimpse of them through the vines winding their way up the rickety old picket fence in the picture perfect garden patch. Bring back fond memories of strawberry picking while the early morning dew still lingered on the vines with the new release by Heartfelt Creations. The Berry Cafe Collection will have you reminiscing of filling pails until overflowing while playing the game of "two for me" and "one for the pail", which always led to the task taking a tad longer. Travel back in time to the days of your childhood where you shared your first strawberry milkshake, or float at the local ice cream parlor with that special someone you so adored. Filled with sweet illustrations of vining strawberries, adorable children, elegant blossoms, old fashioned strawberry stands as well as delicately patterned papers featuring eyelet prints, soft checks, ornate borders and delicious clusters of strawberries nestled among flowers, you are certain to find yourself warming in the berry patch and hankering for a cold strawberry treat.
Here is my first project using this cute collection!

Watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdsIOVMXjIQ to learn how to create flowers with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Watch this video for tips on using decorative border dies https://youtu.be/Ms-PmK7svGI.
Instructions: Cut two complete berry baskets and handles from tan cardstock using the digital cutter. Assemble two boxes together to create one large box. Add the handles as shown inside of box. Cut 2 long strips of yellow patterned paper to 1 1/2" x 12" from collection. Adhere to top of basket edge using scor-tape. Using die from the Border Essentials die set, die cut strips of red patterned paper to adhere on top of the strips of yellow paper. After adhering the red strips into place, use the scor-tape to adhere lace at top of basket. Using the Ornate Borders die, die cut a label from the red patterned paper. Cut a small square of the yellow patterned paper for the middle of the label.
Stamp the Blooming Berries stamp (image with flowers and berries) onto white cardstock using brown ink. Color with alcohol markers and die cut with matching dies. You will need 2 of the images. After die cutting the images, use Glossy Accents on all the strawberries and allow to dry. Stamp the smallest berry blossom images onto white cardstock with brown ink. Die cut with the matching dies and shape flowers using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Using 3d foam squares attach the berry/blossom images into place adding the Berry Blossom flowers using glue. Tie ribbon into a bow and adhere into place. Cut sentiment from paper collection and adhere into place as shown. To fill the basket, I took some yellow cardstock and ran it through a crimper and cut into thin strips.
