Introducing Floral Wellies

Hello friends!   It's been awhile since I shared a project using Pink Ink Stamps.  Not too long ago, Peggy (owner and Illustrator) sent me some new releases for the Spring.  Wow are they cute!  I had so much fun with one of the stamps in the new release - Floral Wellies.  It's just so cute.  Here is what I created!

See what I mean?  Isn't this image adorable?  I stamped it onto a die cut rectangle and colored it using my Spectrum Noir markers.  I chose my colors based on the patterned paper I decided to use.  This is a 6x6 paper pad from LemonCraft called Neverending Summer.  I really love the soft, muted colors of this paper pad.  I added the doily and ribbon to complete this card.  Here is a close-up!

Can you see the sparkle on the flowers?  I added some crystal stickles to give it that glitter sheen!  The sentiment is from Pink Ink Stamps, too.  You can purchase the whole line of Pink Ink Stamps at Ellen Hutson LLC online store.  Here are the links.......

Project Instructions:

Other products: Strathmore 90lb Mixed Media paper, celery green cardstock, gold brads, Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens – Harvest Moon, Smoked Quartz, Holly Leaf, Clear Overlay; adhesive pearls, 3d foam squares

Instructions: Create base of card by cutting green cardstock to 5 1/4" x 10 1/2". Score this at 5 1/4" and fold to create the base of the card. Cut a card panel from the paper collection to 5" x 5" and adhere onto card base. Cut a piece of white cardstock to 4" x 4" and round the corners. Stamp the sentiment on the bottom right hand corner and adhere this to the base of card. Stamp the tree, swing and owl onto the mixed media paper and color using the Sparkle Pens. I used the Clear Overlay pen to blend all my colors together. Then die cut the tree, swing and owl using the matching dies. Adhere these onto the card using 3d foam squares. Stamp the flowers from the Birds and Bloom stamp set onto pink and purple patterned paper from the collection using the Wisteria and Rose Bud inks. Die cut with the matching dies and shape using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Add flowers onto the tree and add the pearl centers. Place the gold brads at all 4 corners of the card to complete.
