A Snowflake Merry Christmas!

Hello Friends!  Are you recovering from a couple of large meals, lots of shopping and decorating for the Christmas season?  Me, too!  LOL   Today you can sit back and relax while checking out a card I created using the Sara Davies Signature Collection - Festive Wonder.  I really love the embossing folder and dies I used to create this card!

This card measures 5 x 7".  I know that is big but sometimes you need a little bit of extra room to write a note to that far-away friend, right?  For this card, I used the Snowy Corner Embossing Folder, the Merry Christmas Die and the Festive Flake die to create the front.  I cut the Festive Flake out twice from two different cardstocks to get this look.  This is a perfect die to use some Stick-it adhesive paper for your snowflake!  Also I die cut the sentiment "Merry Christmas" out and after I adhered it to the card, I used some Stickles to give it that shimmer.  Here is a close-up!

A Merry & Bright Reindeer

Hello friends!  Today I have a fun Christmas card to share with you using supplies from Crafter's Companion.  I have been making a few cards here and there to send out to friends and family.  I absolutely hate making a bunch of the same card, do you feel that way, too?  That being said, I try to make at least 2 of the same card when I have time to sit down to create.  Here is a cute and easy card that I made the other day.

Pretty cute reindeer, isn't he?  I just colored him pretty plainly because I wanted to make these cards somewhat easy.  So no frills or shading on this reindeer.  But I think you get the drift, right?  To mail this I would probably not put the brads or tie a bow.....flat cards are best for regular postage.  Here is a close-up!

Introducing 3d Flip Fold Albums!

Hello Friends!  Happy Black Friday?!  Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends.  Today I have a really neat project to share with you.  Heartfelt Creations is introducing a new scrapbook album you can create and they have done all the hard work for you.  It's a 3d Flip Fold Album and you can purchase all the little pockets and extra flip folds you will need to create your album.  It's really awesome!

Instructions: To begin, I went thru the Enchanted Mum Paper collection and picked which papers I would use for each of my pages. Then I also went back thru the album, planning which flip fold inserts I was going to use. This preplanning can really help you as you alter your album. After covering all the pages and inserts with the papers I chose and inserting the flip folds into place, then I had a lot of fun adding the different die cuts and embellishments. I know you will love the Flip Fold Albums because all of the hard work is done for you!

Deck The Halls With Crafter's Companion

Hello Friends!  I know today is usually a Heartfelt Creations day but this week I will be posting for them on Black Friday!   Are you singing the song Deck the Halls now?   Have you decked your halls yet?  I know it's just a few days early but we are putting our Christmas decorations up because all of my girls are home!  So while they were away for a few minutes this afternoon, I made a few cards for Christmas card stash!  

Don't you just love these colors?  I know I really do.  This paper pad, dies and stamps come from the Sara Davies Signature Collection - Festive Wonder.  I really love it all!  Here is a closer look at my card.

Now I know this card is bulky so I would probably hand deliver this one to someone special.  Don't you love the shimmer on the poinsettia?  I used a new product from Spectrum Noir called Spectrum Noir Sparkle Glitter Brush Pen - Clear Overlay!  I really love how easy it is to get the sparkle, too!  No glitter mess!  LOL

Loves Makes A Family Quarter Fold Card

Hello Friends!  Today I have a 'new-to-me' fancy fold card that I want to share with you today.  Using this month's kit, Love Makes You Family and all its goodies, I created a Quarter Fold card.  Here is a look at my card....

I also have a video that I created, showing you how to make this card.  It's really easy....Here are the paper dimensions that you will need for this card.

 

 

• 1 piece cardstock trimmed to 4 1/4 x 11"
• 1 piece cardstock trimmed to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"
• 2 pieces of patterned paper trimmed to 2 x 2 1/2"
• 2 pieces of patterned paper trimmed to 1 7/8 x 2 5/8"

You will also need a Scor-pal or other scoring tool, liquid adhesive and the contents of your kit!  Here is a video showing you how to put this together!

Beautiful To Me Layout

Hello Friends!  It's been quite awhile since I have created a scrapbook layout for Heartfelt Creations.  I thought the All Glammed Up Collection was the perfect stamps, dies and papers to use for a layout featuring a picture of one of my daughters.  Here is my 12 x 12 layout....

 

See what I mean?  Roses and pretty shoes....it's all perfect for that girly, girl scrapbook layout!  Here is a close-up of the pretty shoe!

Other Products:  Versamark Watermark Stamp pad, Embossing Heat Tool; Bracket Label SVG file and Silhouette Digital cutter; white, green & red cardstock; white twine; 3d foam squares and glue dots

Layout measures 12 x 12”.  Select the red dotted background patterned paper from collection for the base of the layout.  Select the beige and red dotted background patterned paper from collection.  Using digital cutter, cut a 10” large bracket label shape and adhere to base.  Die cut the Decorative Oval die from red cardstock and cut in half.  Adhere to back of picture as shown.  Die cut the plain oval shape (Eyelet Oval Die) from red cardstock.  Stampe the Heels and Roses shoe onto white cardstock using embossing ink, sprinkle with gold embossing powder and heat set.  Die cut with matching die.

Stamp the Botanical Roses die onto red cardstock using embossing ink( 4 times) and sprinkle with gold embossing powder and heat set.  Die cut with matching Botanical Wings Die.  Do the same for the leaves included in the Botanical Rose set…you will need 6 sets of leaves.  Using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit, shape into 2 medium roses  and 8 smallest roses.  Adhere into place onto shoe.  Adhere the red cardstock oval die cut as shown.  Adhere the finished Heels and Roses shoe onto oval as shown.  Tie 2 twine bows and insert around roses on shoe as shown using glue dots.  Cut the dress tag out of the paper collection, insert the twine as shown and adhere into place.  Stamp the swirl included in the All Dressed Up Cling Stamp set onto white cardstock using embossing ink, sprinkle with gold powder and heat set.  Die cut with the matching die.  Adhere into the top right corner of layout.  Add the roses and leaves as shown.  Adhere pearls into place as shown.  Cut the “your are so beautiful to me” from the paper collection and adhere as shown to complete the layout

Here is my first project with All Glammed Up!

When I saw the new  Eyelet Oval die, I immediately thought of a mirror especially with the theme of the All Glammed Up Collection!  So I cut the bottom layer of my oval using the main die and red cardstock.  Then I cut the layering oval from Silver Mirror Cardstock.  I embossed the All Glammed Up Shoe stamp using Ranger Gold Embossing powder onto cream cardstock.  I colored the image using my Spectrum Noir Markers.  I added the tiny bow, which is a die included in the All Glammed Up Shoe die set.  The sentiment came from the paper collection.  This is a large card but I really love it!  Here is a close-up.....

The finished card measures 5 x7”. Cut the kraft cardstock to 7 x10”, score at 5 and fold in half to create base of card.  Cut red cardstock to 4 3/4 x 6 3/4 “.  Cut patterned paper to 4 1/2 x 6 1/2 “.  Layer the red cardstock and patterned paper onto base of card.  Die cut the Oval die that has fancy edge from red cardstock.  Die cut the plain oval from silver mirror cardstock.  Layer together and adhere onto card base.  Stamp shoe image onto white cardstock using Espresso Truffle Memento Ink and color with markers (colors noted above).  Die cut with matching.  Also die cut the small ribbon dies from red cardstock.  Assemble small ribbon.  Adhere show into place using 3d foam squares.  Add the dream tag from the collection plus the small ribbon.  Add the small pearls on the show to complete the card.

 

Festive Wonder Collection

Hello Friends!  Today I have some new products to share with you.  This week over at Crafter's Companion, it's birthday week.  There are new product launches and special offers (like discounts and bundles)  so be sure to check it out!   For my project today, I used Sara Davies Signature Collection - Festive Wonder.  It is really wonderful, too!

I created this 6x6 card ......

For this card, I used the Festive Frame embossing folder on the Shimmering Gold cardstock.  Then I die cut a circle of the Festive Wonder papers.  The sentiment is also a die that I cut from red cardstock.  I outlined the words using Christmas Red Stickles for some really shimmer!  I created the poinsettia using the Festive Wonder - Pretty Poinsettia die template.  This Sara Davies Signature Collection is a big favorite for me this holiday season!  Here is a close-up......

Craft Hoarders Anonymous November Blog Hop

Hello Crafty Hoarders!  It's that time of month again, time for another Craft Hoarders Anonymous blog hop.  You should have come here from Gloria's blog.  If you didn't, you might want to go to her blog and start the whole hop!  This month I have a short tutorial video showing how to use some dies that have been sitting in my crafty room.  I thought they would be perfect to share now, since now is the time to start your Christmas projects!

Here is my project......

So I dug out Graphic45 12 Days of Christmas for this project.  I have about half of the pad left from last year's Christmas cards, so it was good to use some of it up.   I also used some dies from Tonic Studios .  I thought this bow die was perfect for a Christmas gift, don't you?   These are easier to put together than you think.  I filmed a short video showing you how I created the bows on my project.
