Hello Friends! Today is Wednesday so that means it's time for a Heartfelt Creations project! On Black Friday, Heartfelt Creations released the Romantique Garden Collection. I really love the color combos and the romance of the whole collection. Here is alittle more about Romantique Garden.
Love is in full bloom with the Romantique Garden collection from Heartfelt Creations. A romantic symphony composed in subtle shades of pink, fuchsia, green, cream and charcoal harmonizes beautifully with picturesque images of dainty hummingbirds, devoted love birds, graceful swans and delicate bleeding heart bushes. Ornate ironwork backgrounds are in perfect harmony with layered elements of vintage sheet music, lace, flowing handwriting, scrollwork, florals, stripes and flourishes. Six hand drawn stamp sets capture the idyllic beauty of a peaceful garden where swans glide across the surface of a glassy lake, nesting lovebirds are wreathed in flowers, and hummingbirds sip nectar from blossom laden branches of exquisite beauty. I really love to scrapbook especially when I am making my own flowers to match my layout! So today, I created a layout using the Romantique Garden Collection paper pad along with the Arianna Blooms stamps and die!

This layout measures 12 x 12”. Select papers from the Romantique Garden Paper Collection. Using a distress tool, distress edges of the two sheets of base paper used in the layout. Crumple the corners of the layout and tear a piece of the paper away in the upper left hand corner. Die cut the Decorative Lace Border die from the burgundy paper and put a small section of the die cut behind the tear in the base paper so that it will peak out. Adhere these layers together. Cut a piece of black cardstock to 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 “ and distress the edges. Cut a piece of burgundy paper to 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 “ and distress the edges. My picture is 4 x 4”. Layer the picture onto the burgundy paper and then layer this onto the black paper. Adhere into place as shown. Cut a heart shape from the burgundy paper. Lay the burgundy heart onto a piece of black paper and using scalloped scissors, cut around the heart to create a mat. Adhere these together and then adhere to layout as shown. Stamp the Arianna Blooms stamp onto white cardstock using black ink 5 times. Die cut flowers using the Arianna Blooms die. You will be making 1 large white flower, 2 medium pink flowers, 1 small white flower and 2 small pink flowers. To create the pink flowers, use a sponge and apply Victorian Velvet Distress ink to the petals before shaping. Add the Autumn Leaves glitter in the center of all your flowers. Die cut the Arianna Lace dies from black cardstock and adhere to the back of the flowers as shown. Adhere flowers into place using 3d foam squares. Paint Chipboard word using Picket Fence Distress Paint. Adhere chipboard into place and add the small white flower. Spell out the word “true” using label maker and adhere into place as shown. Add the rhinestone flourishes into place to complete layout.
