Hello Friends! This week starts another challenge over at the Craft Hoarders Anonymous blog! This is a super fun challenge and I hope you will play along with us!
Your challenge is to create some sort of altered box. You can create a box from scratch, or you can alter a pre-made box. Your box can be made of paper, wood, chipboard, plastic, or metal. As long as you dig into your hoard to decorate a box, you have met the challenge requirements! The box does not have to be used as a box...it can be used as home decor or for any purpose you can imagine. Let's box it up!
Our sponsor for this challenge is Eileen Hull Designs!
Eileen has designed a signature line of ScoreBoards™ Sizzix dies, which includes the every popular Artist Trading Blocks dies. Her tenth Sizzix collection was released in February. 2014!
Here is my project for this ful challenge!!
Using the Eileen Hull's Artist Trading Block die cuts, I made this cute Bird and Butterfly box. I went out into my yard and found a few sticks to hold my "nest" (that I created from some jewelry wire). The papers I used are from a Tim Holtz pad that was in my stash! The butterflies are from some Prima papers and so is the sentiment. The leaves were created using a Heartfelt Creations leaf dies. Here is a close-up......
