Hello Friends! Hope you have had a great week! Now that the back to school routine is getting easier and despite having the hubby home from work for a few days, I have gotten quite a bit of crafty projects completed. I am feeling very accomplished!
Today I have a card to share with you. I made this card to send to a special new friend who is a neighbor to my mom and has become a very good friend to her. I will have to mail this card in a padded envelope but sometimes the person you are sending a card to is worth extra postage, know what I mean?
Here is my card........
The supplies I have used in this card have been in my stash for awhile! Isn't it a good feeling when you use up stuff you already have? LOL The paper is from the Heartfelt Creations Collection called Daphne. The rose were made with the Bitty Blossoms die (spellbinders) and the leaf flourish is the Heartfelt Creations Ornamental Add On die. I stamped the sentiment (Trust God from Stampin' Up!) onto some ivory cardstock and punched it out with a handheld punch. I added some rhinestone bling and some twine to complete the card. Oh I almost forgot, I used the paper distressor around the outside of the patterned paper layers and inked up the edges.
Here is a close up.....
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you have a great weekend. Be sure to check back next week there are a few more projects I can't wait to share with you.
