Hello Friends! Today starts Challenge #8 for the Craft Hoarders Anonymous blog and I have a fun card to share with you. This challenge is sponsored by Really Reasonable Ribbon and Sin City Stamps! They have some wonderful prizes to share with you so be sure and play along!
Challenge #8 Show us Some Metal or Glass
Do you hoard gears, pins, brads, eyelets, frames, and other metal do-dads? Do you have a thing for tiny light bulbs and glass vials? Do junk drawers make you giddy? Do you hang out in office supply stores so you can score funky paperclips? Do bottle caps make you swoon? Dig through your hoard to find something metal or glass (or both) and make a project to share!
Here is my project for this challenge!
I used a couple of different types of metal on this card. First I used metallic silver paper for one of my layers and for the wings. Then I added a metal key and some silver metal brads to the corners. The stamps are from Sin City Stamps and the lovely seam binding is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I printed out the sentiment onto some cardstock and just cut it out free-hand.
Here is a close-up of my card!
This is a fun challenge! I hope you will join us! Here is what you could win!

Love the contrast between the heavy metal and the delicate femininity displayed in the use of the seam binding, soft blues and flowers. Lovely work and definitely met the challenge! Blessings!

This is the most beautiful cross between steam-punk and vintage floral. Your color palette is scrumptious and helps play up the metal items hard metal texture. Everything is in perfect balance. Your card is a real beauty. Thanks for your inspiration.
