Hello TRC Fans! Hope your day of love is getting off to a great start! If you came directly to my blog, I would encourage you to check out The Rubber Cafe' blog today. The whole design team got together to share our "Love Fest" projects. So there is lots of lovely eye candy to see on The Rubber Cafe' Blog today!
Here is my project! A cute and simple card using the stamp set from our January Creative Cafe' Kit.
This card was really very simple. I stamped the puppy and the sentiment onto squares of white cardstock. I did color a bit on the puppy. One thing I did was use the tip of my black copic marker to create the heart for his eye. I thought that was cute! I also took a light colored grey copic marker and highlighted around the outside of the puppy and the kittens. When leaving the animals white, I find highlighting around the outside gives some depth. The cute kittens I stamped onto a standard circle die cut and matted onto a scalloped circle cut from black cardstock. I layered everything together. I used cardstock, patterned paper, ribbon and gemstones that were included in the January Creative Cafe' Kit.
Be sure to check out all the other great designers who are showcasing some wonderful "love" projects for today! Happy Valentine's Day!!
