Hello Friends! Today I have a couple of cards to share with you that I made using the Graphic45 French Country 8x8 paper pad that I got at Scraptownlady. While I have tons of 6x6 paper pad, I have to say that I prefer the extra inches that the 8x8 pad gives you! I got out my box of scraps to make this card because it is overflowing! Don't you hate to throw away cardstock? I know I do! So here are my cards!
Here is another view.......
The base of this card was created using the Grands Labels 23 die template and it was just sitting in my scrap box waiting for me to make it into a card! LOL I think the cardstock is actually from Stampin' Up! but I think this color is retired! I stamped the "thankful" sentiment (The Rubber Cafe') onto a scrap of ivory cardstock using Rich Cocoa Memento Ink and hand cut it into a banner. Even the ribbon is retired but it is very beautiful with these papers!
Here is my second card!
Here is another view of this card.......
As you can see I used the Graphic45 French Country 8x8 paper pad for everything on this card. It even had a little card I cut out that said Good Luck! Perfect for the person I am sending it too! Hope you having a great week! Looking forward to this weekend because it's Homecoming. My middle daughter is a senior this year so its her last Homecoming dance. Bittersweet for me but she is very excited! Talk to you soon!

Such beautiful cards!!! I haven't used an 8" x 8" pad in a long time - but it would be perfect for cards! I find the 6" X 6" pack to sometimes be too small.
