Hello Friends! Hope you are having a great week so far. Just think....today is Thursday so its almost over! LOL
Today I want to share with you a Halloween card I made for my oldest daughter who is away at college. I try to get a little goodie box together to send to her if she can't be home around Halloween. So this will be the card I include in her goodie box! I used some papers and other goodies I got from Scraptownlady. All the papers on this card are from the Thrilling Collection from Authentique.
To make this card, I cut a sheet of 8 1/2 x 11" paper to 5 1/4 x 10 1/2" and scored it at 5 1/4". Once folded this created the base of the card. I used the Superstition, Frenzy and Antidote paper on the front to create my layers. The spider web die will be available very soon in the store so check back! I tied a piece of black seam binding into a bow around the card and added the spooky label from the Forewarn paper. Because this is a black card, I finished the inside of the card with a piece of ivory cardstock and a strip of Antidote paper. Plus I added little black pearls in the corners and some Crystal Stickles to the skull/crossbones!
Here are a few more pictures of my card!
Hope this "spooky" card gets you in the mood to make some Halloween themed projects! Thanks for stopping by Scraptownlady today!
