Hello everyone! Today I would like to show you a card I made using some new release dies from Spellbinders™ Paper Arts. One of my favorites is the Cherry Blossoms Shapeabilities®. The die set is just so pretty. Here is what I made!
Here is how I made this card. First I stamped the Woodgrain background
stamp onto some Kraft cardstock using Old Paper Distress Ink.
Then I cut/embossed the die cuts I wanted to use for the card. I used the Cherry Blossoms Shapeabilities®, Card Creator A-2 Matting Basics A and Card Creator A-2 Fancy Weave.
After cutting/embossing the cherry blossoms I sponged some Victorian
Velvet Distress Ink around the edges of the flowers. I also stamped the
Get Well sentiment from Fabulous Phrases using some brown ink.
I layered the fancy weave die cut underneath the card creator die cut for alittle bit of a different look. I used Scrap Happy Sheer Glue to adhere everything together. I added some Pearl Jellie Dots and a couple of rhinestones to the middle of the cherry blossoms.
To finish the card I added the sentiment panel, some lacey ribbon and
adhere everything to the base of my square card. Here it is again!
So don't you love the Cherry Blossoms as much as I do? I can already tell its my new favorite. You can purchase these new dies at The Rubber Cafe' store. I have provided the links directly to the products in the store for your convenience. Hope you have a great day!
