Hello! Hope you all are enjoying the Sneak Peek: Spellbinders™ Summer Spectacular. I know I am loving all the wonderful projects! I am so happy to finally be able to share a few of these dies with you. This has to be my favorite release so far. All the dies with the beautiful details that Spellbinders™ is known for plus some new innovative ones, too! Be sure to visit the Spellbinders™ Paper Arts blog to see all the videos and for all the links to the other designers! The Sneak Peek ends on Thursday, June 28.
Now I promised to show how to make the Heartfelt Thanks card that I showed you on my blog frenzy day. Here is a picture to remind you!
For this card, I decided to try something different with the S5-151 Basic Lattic die. When I first cut/embossed the die, I wondered how I would attach it to a project. While looking around my stamp room, my eyes landed on my new Xyron 5" Creative Station that I received at the Spellbinders retreat. I opened the box and got busy!! LOL
I ran a piece of 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" white cardstock thru the Xyron machine so that one side will have adhesive on it. Then I cut/embossed this piece of cardstock using the S5-151 Basic Lattice die. Just a note....make sure when you cut/emboss your adhesive cardstock that the adhesive side is up and the front of the cardstock is face down on your die!
While removing your adhesive cardstock from the die template, you will need to carefully removed the backing to reveal the adhesive side of your die cut. I used the bone folder to keep all those little squares of paper onto the backing. This takes a few minutes because you have to removed it very slowly. If you just remove it quickly, you will have lots of adhesives squares stuck in the Basic Lattice die cut.
Once the backing is removed, place the lattice die cut onto a sheet of 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" piece of white cardstock. Then trim this panel to 4 x 5 1/4" to fit onto the black cardstock base.
Now cut/emboss the S4-381 Hearts and Flowers die. Before removing the cardstock from the die, trace around the outside using a fine tip black marker. Like this....
After tracing, remove the die. You will then need to fussy cut around the outside of your traced shape. Like this...
Once you have cut/embossed and traced the large heart die twice, you are ready to add the Diamond Range-Ruby Flower Soft. This is a fun, sparkly Flower Soft!
Here are a few close-ups of my card.
Hope you have a great day! This week is really hot and dry here in my part of Missouri. I know that I won't go outside when its 100+ degrees so it sounds like this will be a perfect week to just stay inside and create with all my goodies!!

Lovely card Debbie, nice touch with the flower soft too. We are barely reaching 65 degrees here in Wales (UK) so if you would like to send some of your heat this way we wouldn't object ha ha.
