Good Morning Everyone and welcome to the Really Reasonable Ribbon - May Ribbon Club blog hop! The RRR Design Team Members and Special Event Design Team Members will be showcasing the Monthly Ribbon Club. Here are the beautiful ribbons in the May club.
If you are following the order of the blog hop you should have just come from Emily's Blog. If not and you just happened to pop in for a visit please click HERE to start the blog hop at the Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings! Blog.
Pink and black is one of my favorite color combos so this ribbon is getting used up pretty quickly. Here is one of my first projects using this month's ribbon.
Since its May, I decided I would get busy on those cards and gifts I needed for the graduates we know. I found this cute metal bucket at the $Dollar Spot in Target. It had holes punched and a different ribbon in it so I ripped that ribbon out and put my pretty RRR black satin ribbon on it. Instead of tieing the ribbon into a knot to make the handle, I used some small pieces of Scor-Tape to anchor the ribbon into place.
Here is the card......
For this card, I used a stamp from Great Impressions. The sentiment was printed onto white cardstock using the computer. As you can see, I tied the black ribbon into a bow and then added a flower from S5-105 Floral Tags die template set.
Here is another close up of the bucket.....
Now to continue the blog hop.....hop on over to Jeanne Streiff's blog. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. I hope you have enjoyed my Really Reasonable Ribbon blog hop project. The RRR Ribbon Club is an awesome deal. You get a wonderful assortment of ribbon once a month at a really great price. Be sure to check it out!
Supplies Used:
- Really Reasonable Ribbon Products used: Sheer Organza with Satin Center Black Ribbon, Black Double-Faced Satin Ribbon from May Ribbon Club Assortment
- Cardstock: Currant Red, Soot Smooth cardstock #80, Neenah Solar White #80
- Stamps - H166 Graduation Hats - Great Impressions Stamps
- Accessories - S5-105 Floral Tags, S4-324 Ribbon Banners & S4-310 Labels Eighteen (Spellbinders Paper Arts); computer/Calligraphy font, silver brad, Scor-tape
Both of these are so beautiful and the ribbon is so rich looking.

Great graduation set Debbie. I just love the 'upcycled' dollar store bucket. I see so many great projects using dollar store finds. Now just fill the bucket with money and your grad will be all set. :)

What a lovely graduation card. I'm always at a loss as to what to do. This is very doable and so precious. Can actually see the flower die as it is after cutting. Guess I need that die. Great job!!
