My project for today's hop is a card using ODBD stamp set called Missing You.  I love the 2 bible verses and the sentiment plus I think the beautifully detailed fence with flowers is perfect to use with Flower Soft Sprinkles.  See what I mean?

To highlight the flowers going up to the birdhouse, I used Flower Soft Mixed Colors Summer and then added some Flower Soft Sunshine Yellow along the bottom.  For me, alittle Flower Soft goes along way in highlighting any project and I think this card shows that off perfectly!

Alumni Heartfelt Creations Design Team Hop!

Welcome to the first Heartfelt Creations Alumni Design Team Blog Hop!  Linda Payne came up with this great idea and I am so glad she did!  We decided that all of us Alumni would have a Heartfelt Creations blog hop once a month.   So here is a fun hop using our wonderful Heartfelt Creations stuff and some really talented designers!

Here is my project for today's hop.

I used one of my favorite stamp sets from Heartfelt Creations called HCPC3334 Open Falling Leaves PreCut Set.  I think the leaves are so beautiful and there are dies to match (of course!)  The sentiment is from HCPC3330 Elegant Autumn Swirl Leaves PreCut Set.  So I stamped the leaves using Versamark ink onto different colors of cardstock, dusted them with Iridescent Ice Embossing powder and heat embossed them.  Then using HCD707 Falling Leaves Diecuts, I cut/embossed the images.  I added a die cut from HCD704 Perfect Petals Die .

FSC34 Stitching Challenge!

Today's Flower Soft Challenge on Splitcoaststampers is to use stitching (faux or real) on your project along with Flower Soft.  Here is a card I made for this challenge!

It's back to school today for two of my daughters!  The chipboard apple is from Maya Road.  I covered it with cardstock and added some Flower Soft Ultra Fine Sage for the leaves.  I added some Flower Soft Ultra Fine Strawberry to the dots on the "2".  The stamp is from Unity.  All cardstock is from www.discountcardstock.com.  The patterned paper is from October Afternoon.  I used my sewing machine to do a zigzag stitch between the layers.  Here is a close-up.

Case-ing Today's Featured Stamper!

Every Sunday on Splitcoaststampers a Featured Stamper is picked.  Your challenge is to pick a card/project from that person's SCS gallery and CASE it.  So here is my card that I Cased for the challenge.

Here is a link to the card I CASE'd from PAWALLEN's gallery.  I used a new stamp set I just purchased from Stampin' Up!  I just love everything about this stamp set.....pretty swirls, butterfly, flowers....its all great  and it's called Creative Elements.  The cardstock I used is from www.discountcardstock.com, of course!  I used Posh Milk Chocolate Felt for the base.  The pink layer is Shocking Pink.  Then I used a layer of Kraft cardstock to stamp some of my images on.  I used Rich Cocoa Memento ink pad and Melon Mambo (SU) for the pink images.

What a fun card to make.  This will be a busy week for me.....getting my two younger girls ready for school on Wednesday.  Then my hubby and I will take my oldest daughter to college (which is about 4 1/2 hours away).  It will be a bittersweet week because I am so happy and excited for her but at the same time, I am going to miss her so much.......sniff, sniff!

New Toys to Play With!

I was pleasantly surprised to get a delivery the other day from Spellbinders Paper Arts.   I received the new Presto Punch machine.  What a neat little machine!  Take a look and see what I mean!

 

The Presto Punch machine comes with the Presto Punch templates that are in front of the machine.  The other two punch templates sets are ones that I had in anticpation of receiving this cute little machine.

Here is a card I made using my new Presto Punch machine and this week's sketch from CPS #230.

Here is a close-up of the flower I made using the Petal Pack Presto Punch templates.  In the middle of the flower, I used some Flower Soft Ultra Fine Earth.

The leaves are made using a Presto Punch template that comes with the machine.  I had alot of fun using this machine.  Special thanks to Stacey Caron at Spellbinders Paper Arts for sending it to me!!

A Scalloped Shaped Card

I recently purchased the Scalloped Circle & Classic Circle Grand Nestabilities but I haven't taken the time to actually use them.  Well, I sure did fix that problem!  Here is a card I made using the Scalloped Circle Grand Nestabilities to make the base of the card.

Here is one of the many thank you cards I have been making for my daughter to use.  She needs to thank lots of people for graduation stuff and we are just about done.  I make the cards and she is doing the rest!  LOL

Here is one of my cards!

The patterned paper is from October Afternoon Thrift Shop collection.  The rolled rose is made from the Jumbo Scalloped Circle die from Spellbinders.  The sentiment is from Verve.  I love how this turned out!  I used Kraft, Posh Red Twill & Posh Ivory Linen Cardstock from Discount Cardstock.  The Posh Red Twill cardstock is on sale this week at Discount Cardstock so be sure to check that out!  It's a great deal!
