This week the Flower Soft girls are dishing out a Looooooove Challenge! Make a card in a Valentine or Love theme.
Entries must be uploaded to the SCS gallery and use at least one Flower Soft product (Flower Soft, toppers, stamps) to be eligible to win. Please use the keyword FSC19 and flowersoft (one word) when uploading to the gallery so we can find your project. Entries will be accepted for the challenge until 6:00am CT on January 14th. The SCS winner’s card will be featured on the Flower Soft blog on January 14th!
The prize this week – New Flower Soft colors! Meadow, Peony Pink and Marigold:
For my project today, I used the brand new Flower Soft Colors! They are so bright and remind me of Springtime! Plus I think its fun to use different color combos for Valentine's Day. What do you think?
For the base of my card I used Shocking Pink cardstock. The next layer is Peaches & Cream DoubleMates. For my white layer, I used Brilliant White #110 cardstock. I ran three strips of 1/4" Scor-Tape along the bottom of my white layer. I removed the liner for one strip at a time and applied the Meadow, Peony Pink and Marigold Flower Soft. Don't try to put the different colors of Flower Soft on at the same time because you will end up with quite a mess (ask me how I know!). The Vintage Oval frame stamp with matching die and the sentiment is from the Love Story set. Both are from Verve Stamps and were gifts from some super nice ladies - Julee Tilman (Owner of Verve) & Shannan Teubner (Verve DT Diva!). I added some gold brads in the corner and it was all done! I love using the Scor-Tape with my Flower Soft. It gives a different look for your cards and you don't have to wait around for it to dry!
