Well, today I decided to try something kinda new. Every Monday over at Splitcoast, there is a Clean and Simple Challenge. Today's challenge is a sketch challenge. It's a great sketch, too! Here is my card:
I started my card by looking thru my scrap box. I found these scraps of Cosmo Cricket paper that I think go together very well. The yellow dotted paper was already die cut and embossed using theClassic Scalloped Borderabilities® Petite from SpellbindersÔ. The sentiment is a sneak peek of a new set fromMark's Finest Paper called Flourishes and Frames. The red gingham ribbon is fromMark's Finest Paper, too. After tying a knot in my ribbon, I added the red button and tied it into place with some Linen thread. This was a super fun card to make!
You should give this challenge a try! Hope you have a great Monday!
Hey Girl Firend, clean and simple I like that alot, love the card, hey I think I could card lift this one and get rid of alot of scraps hmmmmm, thanks for the idea..he he Hugs

What a fun combo of patterned papers with the gingham ribbon. I like how you scalloped the bottom edge of one of your strips.
