Here are a couple of cards I made today which will be part of a set that I am giving for a gift. I used some new stuff from Basic Grey called Kioshi. Isn't it unique and pretty? I love the soft colors! The stamp set is from Our Craft Lounge called Nature's Notes. The two sheets of patterned paper that I chose from the 6x6" paper pad have some of my favorite colors. I made 4 cards from these sheets - 2 of each card.
The base of my cards are made from some Spring Moss cardstock. The scalloped piece is made from some Ocean Tides cardstock. I ran this thru my Wizard™ using Jumbo Scallop Border Petite die template. The flowers where stamped onto white cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad, colored with Copic Markers and then cut out. I cut/embossed some more white cardstock using the Petite Ovals Sm.Nestabilities™ and layered onto a Scalloped Petite Ovals Sm cut out of more Ocean Tides cardstock. I stamped the sentiment and cut/embossed it using the smallest die from Doubled Ended Tags. I added the silver brads and some lace ribbon to finish. Then I decided to stamp the butterfly from the Nature's Notes set and color it using Copic Markers, too. I added some Crystal Stickles to the flowers and the butterfly.
My middle daughter will be making her confirmation this year and we will be giving a collection of cards to her religion teacher. She is such a nice lady and always loves my cards!
Hope you are having a great day. I am working on a post about my new die organization I have been working on all week! It's pretty neat! Talk to you later!
I just love the colors you used! Beautiful!!
