Hello and welcome to Day 2 of the JustRite® Stampers Mega March Blog Hop! I have made a special project using the Stitched With Love Borders & Centers - 2 3/8" Round. This wall hanging shows off my adorable great-niece, Morgan! Isn't she cute as a button? :)
For this project, I started with a 8 x 8" piece of chipboard. I covered it using some Sweet Blush cardstock. This picture of Morgan was from a Christmas card. Since I wanted to use really girly paper and not Christmas, I took some cream Acrylic Paint and sponged that around her so that it all kinda matched. I layered her picture onto a piece of Certainly Celery Cardstock.
Using the (S4-241) Jumbo Scalloped Borderabilities® Petite die template from Spellbinders™, I cut/emboss a strip of Mary Mary "Beautiful" So Cute from the Quite Contrary collection by My Mind's Eye and a piece of vanilla cardstock. I added a strip of Soft Sky underneath the strip at the bottom. The bottom strip of patterned paper is the other side of the My Mind's Eye paper. I stamped the flower image in 3 different colors of ink - Baja Breeze, Regal Rose & Pretty In Pink. Then I covered the whole flower with Versamark embossing ink and Iridescent Ice embossing powder. After heat setting, I cut the flowers out, added those buttons and mounted them onto (S4-192) Blossoms Nestabilities™. Then I stamped the Cute As A Button stamp from the set using some Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto vanilla cardstock and then cut/embossed using the Scalloped & Standard Circle Nestabilities™. I stamped Morgan's name using the Times New Roman 15 & 25 Point Font set and the 2" square stamper. Using the (S4-126) Classic Square Nestabilities™ Lg, I cut/emboss her name. The I stamped the square design using the 2" square Decorative Frames set in Baja Breeze ink onto some Soft Sky cardstock. Using the (S4-127)Scalloped Square Nestabilities™ Lg, I cut/emboss this and layered Morgan's name on. I added some lace and that cool hanger and it was all done! Now I can give this cute keepsake to her Mom and Dad, don't you think? Here are a couple of close-ups:

LOL, I have to admit that as cute as this layout is (and it is "cute as a button"), my favorite thing is the hanger. I just love vintage-y, industrial style items.

The monotone approach with the Dresden plate stamp really shows it off. They look wonderful against the floral paper.
