I finally took some time to participate in a challenge on Splitcoast this week! Wow! The color challenge for today was to use Pretty In Pink, Soft Suede and Whisper white. That is one of my favorite color combos - pink/brown/white! So here is my card!
I kept the card kinda simple. I didn't even put a sentiment on it. I think I will add that later when I am ready to send it in the mail. I used the large flower image from Friendship's Garden - Gina K Designs. I stamped the image onto Pink Pirouette and Soft Suede using Versamark and then added some white embossing powder. After heat setting the flowers, I layered the strips onto a piece of white cardstock. Then I tied the pink ribbon around it. I stamped 2 flowers using Van Dyke Brown (Ranger) and 1 flower using Pretty in Pink and then cut them out. I popped the flowers up using foam squares. Pretty simple card but I think its really pretty!
Now I have some stuff to share with you. Check out this link to the Terri O. Craft website. My project for Spellbinders Paper Arts, focusing on Impressabilities, is the star for this video! Ithink this is really neat.
Also have you checked out the latest Paper Crafts magazine, Holiday Cards & More? Well, I have 2 cards in this wonderful magazine. I can't believe my cards made it because some of the projects blew me away!
I hope you will get a chance to check out the magazine and the Terri O. Craft website. Plus you should check out GinaK Designs website, too. I just love her stamps. The stamps are deeply etched, red rubber and come mounted onto EZ Mount. Each stamp set comes with a sheet to store them on. I put mine into small 3 ring binders but Gina K does sell a pretty neat looking storage system that I have my eye on. So I hope you are having a great week so far. Be sure to check back on Wed, Thursday for all the great JustRite Mega Font Blog hop information. Then come back here on Friday, Sept 18 to see what I made for this Mega Hop! Its going to be so fun!
Debbie, this is GORGEOUS! I love that image and might have to check it out . . . enabler!
