I don't know about you but I hate starting the week with a holiday. It just kinda messes everything up, don't you think? I have been behind all week. Today is my day to post on the DRS Designs blog. This week DRS Designs is the sponsor at Caardvarks. I made a card using new release images from DRS and Sketch #2 from Caardvarks.
For the main image, I used the new release Simple Decorated Tree (H010) and the sentiment is Beauty of Nature Christmas Greeting (F334). I stamped the background using Gift Background (H1140) that I stamped using Riding Hood Red ink onto Riding Hood Red cardstock. The patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye. Its new and I just love the colors! The buttons are from Basic Grey. I threaded some Linen Thread thru and tied it in the back. I attached the buttons using some glue dots. The buttons will make my card over the weight limit for postage but that's okay, isn't it?
