Here's a card I made for this week's color combo challenge. The colors to use are Bravo Burgundy, Regal Rose & Kiwi Kiss. I decided to use the Embossing Resist technique to make my own background paper. First I stamped the swirly from the Priceless set using versamark and embossed that with clear embossing powder. Then I used a sponge and dabbed on the Regal Rose & Kiwi Kiss. Then I stamped the swirly using Bravo Burgundy. I used the stamp set called Hearts on Fire from Verve for the heart image and the sentiment. I colored in the heart with a copic marker and I used some Burgundy grosgrain to attach the Hodge Podge Hardware frame. I am bound and determined that I am using all that stuff up before I buy more, know what I mean?
I will tell you that I don't think this card is my best, but I do love how the Stampin' Up! Priceless set goes with the heart stamp. Don't you love versatile sets? I even used the Priceless stamp set to make some Bridal Luncheon invitations last week. Its a great set!
