A Peek Into My Stamping Room

You can never have enough birthday cards!

I am always making birthday cards.  It seems like someone is celebrating every week, whether they are friends or family, a birthday card is what I make the most of.  If a giving a hand-made birthday card is a challenge for you, you should plan to come to my Birthday Card Stamp-a-Stack on Sunday, July 27 at 2:00 p.m.  We will make 8 cards in total - 2 each of 4 different styles, plus you will receive envelopes and make a box to keep them in.  Here is one of the cards you will be making:

 Isn't this fun?  I love Regal Rose & Pretty in Pink together.  This uses Berry Bliss Designer Series Paper,  the large oval punch, scallop punch, circle punch and the white gel pen to make those little doodle dots.

I think any little or big girl would love to receive such a cute card.

Scrapbooking the summer away!

This is a scrapbook page I made last week using scraps!  The red blossoms are from the Die-Cut blooms that were offered in the past mini catalog.  I only have a little bit of that Summer Picnic Designer Series paper so I decided to only use a small strip and just stamp the rest.  I am also trying to not horde my accessories anymore thus the Hodgepodge Hardware pieces in the top left corner. 

Supplies Used:  Seeing Spots Stamp set;  Whisper White (12 x 12), Bashful Blue & Summer Picnic Designer Series Paper; Die-Cut Blooms in Real Red , Old Olive & Bashful Blue; Bashful Blue, Real Red & Certainly Celery Classic Ink Pads; Blue Grosgrain ribbon, Antique Brass Hodgepodge Hardware.

Do you have some Sale-A-Bration rub-ons left?  I have 2 packages and really want to use them up.  The great thing about these rub-ons are they come in white, black, chocolate & olive green.  For this page, I used some of the chocolate ones.  The background is Cameo Coral and my picture mats are Chocolate Chip.  This was really easy and very fun.  I didn't even stamp!

Happy 4th and all that Jazz!!

Hope you had a great 4th of July, we did! This is my Cassie in our pool at our 4th of July party. 

She has to wear the goggles and the nose plugs together and it cracks me up every time I see her. 

Now to the stamping part!  I did stamp last night and today but it took me awhile to actually get to my computer cause I was having fun with the family in the pool!

I really like this sketch with the scalloped strips.  Just think, in a couple of days, I will have my Catalog Sneak Peek Pre-order from Stampin' Up! and I can show you some of the great things that will be in the new catalog.  I am really not so patiently waiting for my Stamping Royalty Prizes, too.  Patience has never been a virtue that I possess and I don't care to learn the lesson now but .......  Remember Stamping Sisters!  Lunch at my house when I get my stuff!  It will be a blast!
