I finally have my thank you cards done. I made these cards for my mom & dad and my father-in-law. They fit into a business sized envelope. I have been making this sized card more and more. This one I cased from someone at Splitcoast Stampers. I will find out who it is and give them credit by tommorrow morning. I used the Afternoon Tea Designer Series Paper. This paper is really great and I think I will order another pack. I usually never order more than one package of Designer paper cause I get tired of it so easily but not these designs. The paper has many coordinating designs that go with just about any occasion. I haven't even scrapped with the papers yet!!
Supplies Used: Embrace Life Stamp set; Afternoon Tea Designer Series Paper, Groovy Guava, Soft Sky & Shimmery White cardstock; Basic Gray Classic Ink Pad; Groovy Guava double-stitched ribbon, blender pens, soft sky & groovy guava classic ink pads.
For this card, I actually broke open my package of Ice Rhinestone Brads. I have had them for a couple of months, but I am a hoarder. They are really pretty. The color is not exactly Blue Bayou but they are so sparkly it just doesn't matter.
Supplies Used: Friendly Flowers (Occasions Mini Catalog); Chocolate Chip, River Rock Textured cardstock, Soft Sky & Whisper White Cardstock; Blue Bayou, Soft Sky Classic Ink Pads; Chocolate Ribbon.
This card is going to my father-in-law for the money he gave me for my birthday. I bought new shoes, of course. Sandals to be exact!! I think, even with the sparkly brads, this a masculine card. What do you think? Of course, he will probably just throw it away but I will just have to deal with it. I have to say thank you and I am not about to buy a card!
Fabulous! I love your work. Thanks for sharing! Love your blog. So glad I found it!
