I needed to make my hubby an anniversary card for Sunday. We were married 17 years! So I decided I had to use all scraps because the scraps are getting out of control. My new color combo is: Blue Bayou, Soft Sky & River Rock. Yep, all 3 are In-Colors and all 3 are plentiful in my scrap box.
I decided to take the picture from the window in my room since there is actually some sun today. Its hard to see but on the Soft Sky, I stamped the paisley from the stamp set - Wanted - in Soft Sky Classic ink. Then I sponged Blue Bayou around the edges of almost everything. I stamped the paisley again on the sentiment in Soft Sky. I surprised myself and didn't use ribbon on this card. I think it turned out well. Keith liked it and that's what counts the most.
I will have lots to show you starting May 1! Keep checking back.
Supplies Used: Wanted, Friendly Flowers, Hugs & Wishes Stamp sets: Blue Bayou, River Rock & Soft Sky Cardstock; Blue Bayou & Soft Sky Classic Ink pads; sponge, vintage brads, Photo Corners, Scallop, ticket corner & 1/2" circle punches; Stampin' Dimensionals.
This color combo is very pretty,in the pic it almost looks like so saffron.
