My pictures aren't much better, Lol! I scan cards and use digital pictures of scrapbook pages. I think you need a really good zoom feature, like 10 or 12 for your digital camera, and lots of gals use an Ott light on their work for color correction and even put their stuff in front of white card stock, or have designed a small photo box with optimal. My camera has a 4X zoom lens, and I can't afford a Canon Rebel yet, so I'll keep using what I have. When my blog hits the "big time", maybe I'll splurge????? I always enjoy checking out your work, fellow su! scrapper!!!

I read on Amy Rysavy's blog to always push the tulip button when you want a close-up detailed picture. That has worked for me!
Love the pages!

The best way I take my pics I put them on a stand on a stand and take the pics in natural light usually sometimes after 4 when the sun is not so harsh..
The other thing I do, I use repositioning glue dots and put them on the wall of my patio so they are eye level.

Great pages!!! The only advice I can give you is that I take a picture of each layout by itself, crop and upload it. You are right about taking a picture of them together-you have to zoom out and can't see the layouts that good.

Great scrapbook pages! My photos come out the same way, haven't figured out how to get good photos of them.
