I volunteered to make the table decorations for Caitlyn's Girl Scout Awards banquet this week. Here is what I came up with. Along time ago, I saw a similar box on another blog and wrote about it in my idea book. Well, as I was racking my brain for something to make, I came across my notes. This box is based on the 2-4-6-8 box but instead of a square its a triangle. You score at 3-6-9. After my stamp camp on Friday night, I will post a small tutorial. You see, I think this would be a great project for stamp camp so those attending get to learn how to make it first! You better come on over Friday night cause Stamp Camp will be alot of fun.
Here is the completed box front. Now I have to figure out what to put inside. I think it will be a cello bag of candy and some confetti but we will see what I come up with at the dollar store.
Supplies Used: Priceless Stamp Set & So Swirly Jumbo Wheel; Gable Green, Regal Rose & Whisper White cardstock; Gable Green Jumbo Cartridge & Classic Ink pad, Regal Rose Classic Ink pad; Marvy Uchida Scalloped Circle Punch, Colluzzle circle cutter, whole punch, white organdy ribbon, Paper Trimmer with Scoring blade, Sticky Strip
If you have any good ideas of what to put inside this, let me know! I think I used up all my creative juices for awhile. I am working on some projects to show you for Mother's Day. Starting May 1, I will be showing a new project everyday for 7 days. I already have 2 projects done, so I am on a role. Hopefully, I haven't burnt myself out!! LOL
Hope you have a great weekend!
Cute! Love the colors!
