So this is my card of the week!!
Supplies Used: One of a Kind Stamp set; Pretty in Pink & Basic Brown Classic Ink; Pretty in Pink, Close to Cocoa, Whisper White Cardstock; Berry Bliss Designer Series paper, Boho Blossoms Punch, Coluzzle Cutting System, Key Tag Punch, Grosgrain Ribbon & Vintage Tags.
Don't you just love these colors together? Its a great combo! This is a square card and I am finding that its my new favorite. I love all the space you have to work with. Of course, the Designer paper did all the work for me on this card. I will have more to share later in the week.

Sorry I have been pretty busy and unfortunately, I have not been busy stamping. Caitlyn will be 12 on February 29 and I have been getting things ready for her party. She has asked her friends over that have American Girl Dolls and we are having Fondue and other snacks. It should be fun but requires me to actually clean and stuff, can you believe that?
I do have some cards to share but it will have to be later in the week after I send out my newsletter. I would like to invite anyone living in my area to this Scrapbooking Crop put on by my upline, Shelly Dalaviras. Here is all the info!

Shelly is the Cheerleading Coordinator for the Windsor Middle School and this is one of the community projects she does with the girls. There is a little boy named Nathan, that goes to Shelly's church, that will benefit from any research into to this rare disease. Shelly will have lots of Stampin' Up! surprises, I am sure! It will be a fun day!

Today, I finished unpacking my Stampin' Up! order that I got on Wednesday and started mounting stamp sets. Did you know that all the Sale-A-bration stamp sets are die-cut? Look at this!!
I could get very spoiled really quick by this. I love just popping that rubber out and placing it on my wood block. Its fantastic!!
I also pre-ordered from the Occasions Mini catalog that will come out on March 1. Many of my customers should start receiving a copy of this in their mailboxes pretty soon. All the stamp sets in that Mini Catalog are die-cut also. Its a good thing! (I sound like Martha don't I?)
I will post more tommorrow but I am behind on my weekly Card of the Week newsletter and my monthly Newsletter. I have been playing Playstation 2 with the kids. They have been home the last 2 days and we have been having a great time! We got a new TV over the weekend. Boy, I didn't realize the difference a HD TV would make! Pretty cool. Talk to you soon.

Caitlyn won first prize for her great Spongebob Valentine's Box. She was so happy when she came home! Do you know what she did? The prize was a big Reese's Peanut Butter Heart and she got one of those from Us. Caitlyn gave her prize to the second place winner since she already had the prize. Wasn't that nice? What a great kid! Our Valentine's was pretty non-eventful. We had a great dinner with everyone's favorites and then we watched Survivor and Lost. The whole family is really into Survivor and everyone but Cassie is into Lost, too! Man, I can't get enough of that Sawyer, can you? What a hottie!
Thanks for all the nice comments about Caitlyn's box. She loves the attention!

Hope you have a great Valentine's Day. My family made cards for me and they are great! The kids have been home from school because of an ice storm so when they left this morning for school, I was happy!! Things have been a bit chaotic around here as my step-sister has been seriously ill and I have been with my family. I would ask all of you to pray for her FULL recovery. Only time will tell if that will happen currently she seems to be out of immediate danger.
Caitlyn's class is having a Valentine's Box decorating contest. Here is what she made!!
Caitlyn is my Out-of-the box thinker. She used a shoebox for the body, decorating with Yo-Yo Yellow cardstock and various other scraps she could find!! She also used my Stampin' Up! punches like - word window, circles, squares and oval punches plus my Coluzzle Cutting system. There are Swiffer Rags for his sleeves and socks plus 2 smaller boxes for his feet. Its great! I am the party mom for the Valentine's day party today and bought the prize for best box. Do you think she will win? Seems kinda fixed to me but its a great box!
So my honey is working midnights and we aren't doing anything special for Valentine's day. What are you doing with your family? Anything fun? Make sure to comment and let me know!

I recently participated in a Sale-A-Bration swap with other demonstrators. Here is my sample:
Supplies Used: Celebrate Everything & So Many Scallops stamp sets; River Rock, Ruby Red and Very Vanilla cardstock; Ginger Blossom Designer Series Paper; Regal Rose, Groovy Guava, Ruby Red, Versamark Ink Pads; Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder; Scallop Punch, River Rock Double-Stitched Ribbon, Horizontal Slot punch.
I embossed the scallop image using Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder. I just love how much it sparkles in real life!!
Colleen was looking thru my swaps and picked out her two favorites and guess what? She picked out mine!! Too funny!!

Well, I haven't used Rub-ons that much, so I decided to experiment. I say a scrapbook layout on another blog that sparked an idea. This is what I came up with.
This is a page for Colleen's newest scrapbook. We decided to start a whole new book for high school. These pictures are from the Homecoming dance this past fall.
The Love & Happiness Rub-ons have 4 sheets per package - 1 each of white, black, old olive and chocolate chip. I used up almost the entire black sheet by making this scrapbook page plus I made 2 or 3 cards, too.
The actual rub-ons were super easy to use. You must cut out each portion as they are kinda sticky and even if you don't rub, could come off. Other than that, using them couldn't be easier and they are kinda fun, too. Remember, if you want these Rub-ons, you can get them for FREE until March 17. I have been thinking of starting a Monthly Scrapbooking Club and was wondering if anyone would be interested. You would commit to spending $25 a month on Stampin' Up! supplies plus come to the house to make 2 double-page 12x12 layouts. Commitments would be for 6 months and everyone would take a turn being the hostess for a month. We would have club at my house. What do you think? Let me know if your interested and I will send you all the information! I think it would be a fantastic way to get new ideas and some pages completed every month.

My next stamp camp will be Feb. 15 & Feb. 17. We will be making 5 projects. I have had my samples made for awhile but forgot to post them! Here they are.
We will make this Paper Lantern. I used the Sale-A-Bration stamp set - Merci - to make my embellishments for this. I got the idea from the Sale-A-Bration catalog sample. I really like this color combo. These are quite easy to make and everyone attending the Stamp Camp will get written instructions to take home.
This project uses coasters to make a cute little picture frame for your desk or something. I will have the option to make this for a boy or for a girl. I think these are so fun. They don't take much time even though it looks hard.
I used the Sale-A-Bration set called So Many Scallops for this coaster frame.
This is a circle card. I used my Coluzzle Cutting System to make this. This card fits into a Medium envelope from Stampin' Up! This uses the Merci Sale-A-Bration stamp set. I also used my much neglected Stampin' Pastels. This is a quick and easy card to make.

Every Monday there is a Technique Lover's Challenge on Splitcoast Stampers. This Monday's challenge was to make a Sweet Centerpiece. The links to the directions are in the Sweet Centerpiece challenge post. The directions are straight from the queen, Martha Stewart!! Here is what I came up with.
I love that Target Dollar spot, don't you? I found this picture holder thingy there about 1 year ago and it has been sitting on my shelf. Once I made my Cooty Catcher Centerpiece, I got the idea to take my picture holder apart and put it up thru the middle of my centerpiece. I used the Build a Flower Accents and Elements I had to make the flowers and Rose Red Designer Series Paper for my centerpiece. The Celebrate Everything Stamp set just seemed appropriate to use. I have used this set alot lately, haven't I.
Not much stamping on this project. You should check out the Gallery for this challenge. Everyone came up with such good ideas! Give this one a try, you will really have fun.
