I hear from my customers that making cards just takes too much time. Well, here is a technique that lets you make 10 cards in just under 1 hour! Here are the supplies I used for the One-Sheet Wonder I did today!
Supplies: Petal Prints Stamp set, Wonderful Words Stamp set, All Year Cheer 1 Stamp set, More Mustard, Morning Marigold and True Thyme Ink Pads, Whisper White, More Mustard, True Thyme & Chocolate Chip Cardstock, Natural Hemp, Brads.
Take a full sheet of Whisper White Cardstock and stamp all over it. See Below Example!
Cut cardstock following template. See below example.
Cut the More Mustard Cardstock in half to make 10 card bases. Use the other colored cardstock for embellishment make the following cards!
I made 10 cards in 1 hour. I have a template that you can just copy onto the Whisper White Cardstock with your printer that I got off the Splitcoaststampers website. It would really be fun to do this for a Stamp Camp. I am thinking my September stamp camp will be using this technique! You could substitute a Christmas stamp set and change the colors to make quick and easy Christmas cards, too!

I just got this stamp set and cut it out today. It was harder to stamp with than I thought. I can't figure out where the leaves go with the grapes, but I still think these cards turned out really great.
This card I CASED directly from the Idea Book & Catalog. I thought if I made this card it would get my creative juices flowing and it worked!

So I have been busy enjoying my freedom with all the girls in school. I have been stamping but not taking pictures of my projects. But I have decided that this is my most favorite card I have ever stamped! I made it a couple of weeks ago to give to a fellow demonstrator. This demonstrator has gone through some serious health problems and a group of us got together and made her some thank you notes to use. Here is my contribution!

Today was the first day of school. All went really well. Everyone left with smiles on their faces and everyone came home, sweaty, smelly and smiling! That means it was a good day! Cassie enjoyed her first day of Kindergarten and said she is going back tommorrow, so the first hurdle is jumped! I didn't even get to stamp today. My step-dad, Larry, came home from the hospital on Monday. So today Keith and I took lunch to the house and enjoyed a nice chinese take-out meal with Mom and Larry. So far all tests and such came back showing Larry is in remission! Great News! Great Day!

I have been working on some stamping projects for my upcoming workshops in September. Some things are new and some are variations on the good old stand-bys. Both of these projects look like they take alot of time but I stamped maybe an hour today. I think it took longer to edit my digital pictures. Make sure you check out my photo album for some more new card ideas!
Here is a triangle box that is great for a party favor. I used the Flip Flop Wheel that is in the Summer Mini Catalog! Very Fun and easy!

I also made these explosion boxes. I had trouble picking stamp sets for these because I have made them only at Christmas before! They are a medium on my easy monitor but worth the effort. If you want to learn to make one or both of these, either book a workshop with me in September or come to the September 1 stamp camp to learn how!

I am not really posting as much as I thought I would on this blog but I am sure it will get better. I am officially not babysitting any more and the girls will start school on Thursday, so I should have lots of time to stamp and post on my blog, right? Yeah, I know what will happen, I will start another project. Like my bedroom needs painting, the bathroom need cleaning and painting or Keith is off that day and wants to see a movie, etc.... But I have good intentions, don't I?
Here is a card I made for my Step-Brother Rick and his wife, Susie. They have been married 30 years and their kids had a small get-together to celebrate. The party was really nice and very special, just like Rick and Susie. I thought this card turned out really well. I CASED it from my favorite board, Splitcoaststampers. CASE stands for Copy & Share Everything!

I know you think I am weird, but I am glad the weekend is over. My dad is in the hospital (yet again) with fever, chills and shakes, and his white cell count is pretty much zero. For those customers of mine who work at Barnes, he is in room 6909, Larry is his name, if you want to say HI! He is quite the trooper. I will be very glad once he is out of the hospital.
The girls did get a chance to swim a bit in our new pool. Plus Keith worked around the yard on his day off, so that was really good. I spent 2 whole hours blissfully by myself yesterday in our reclining chair and I really vegged out in front of the T.V.!
So I didn't get a chance to stamp much this past weekend, I want to remind you all that it is not too early to think about Christmas Cards! Here are some cards I have done in the past 3 years! Enjoy!

I am having a very sad day. A great friend of my family has passed away. While I know he was suffering and in a better place, I can't help but feel really sad. His wife and my mother have been friends since high school and as long as I can remember they have been around. Life is just so short, isn't it? I think I have learned more about enjoying each and every day this past year than I really wanted too. With my step-dad's illness and my mother-in-law's cancer, I have learned to never take anything for granted. Due to the death of my friend I will be cancelling my Friday night Stamp Camp. I will reschedule later in the month. Thanks for understanding.
