During the month of October, Spellbinders Paper Arts and Tattered Angels have gotten together to have a great blog relay. Its been really fun using Tattered Angels products like Glimmer Mists and Glimmer Screens! Today is my turn to show you the project I made using some great Glimmer Mists - Iridescent Ice, Juneberry Wine and Candlelight.
This wall hanging was actually a Make 'n Take that Julie and Maggi (at the Ink Spot) had planned for this past Saturday. I took the pieces and changed it up some using my Spellbinders dies and Glimmer Mist to give it that extra something!
Here are a few close-ups!
This was a pre-cut leaf from the kit. Using the Iridescent Gold Glimmer mist, I add some sparkle. I chose not to blot this particular leaf after spraying the mist because I wanted the droplet effect. For all the other glimmery items, I sprayed the mist and then laid a tissue over the project and lightly blotted to prevent the droplets.
This is the Nested Maple Leaf Nestabilities cut/embossed from vanilla cardstock. I sprayed Candlelight Glimmer Mist and blotted with a tissue. Then I sprayed some Juneberry Wine just on the one edge. I really didn't mean to get those extra drops but I thought it kinda looked good! LOL. Then I sprayed some Iridescent Gold mist and let it dry.
Here is a smaller Nested Maple Leaf, sprayed with the glimmer mists the way I described above. I also cut/embossed the Renaissance Hearts Pendant and the Renaissance Hearts Pendant Center out of some 7gypsies paper. I sprayed them all using Iridescent Gold mist and set aside to dry. I cut the Pendant centers in half and attached them to the back of the large circle. The pendant I put in the middle of the circle and attached the Give Thanks.
I hope my project has given you some ideas for combining your Spellbinders die templates and Tattered Angel products. They go together like Peas & Carrots! (sorry just watched Forest Gump the other day! LOL)
