Hello friends! Are you thinking spring? I know it's not even March yet but the temperature yesterday was 75 degrees! I got out my flip flops! LOL It definitely won't stay like this but I am going to enjoy it while I can. Here is my card for Heartfelt Creations this week. I don't use vellum alot but I thought the dogwood flowers from the new collection would look great if you made them from vellum. What do you think?
I stamped the dogwood images onto vellum using Versamark ink and then dusted it with some sparkling embossing powder. After I heat set the images, I used the matching dies to cut them out. I used a sponge to add a bit of color to the flowers and leaves. Here is a closer look.......

Instructions: My finished card measures 5 1/4" x 5 1/4". To begin the card, cut the white cardstock to 5 1/4" x 10 1/2". Score it at 5 1/4" and fold it in half. Cut a square card panel from the collection. Also you will need to fussy cut the dove from the matching panel included in the collection. Adhere the extra dove into place using 3d foam squares. Stamp the Small Dogwood Petals and Small Dogwood Leaves onto vellum using white ink. Sprinkle with Bridal embossing powder, shake off excess and heat set. Using the matching dies, die cut the flowers and leaves. Use a sponge dauber to add pink and green colors to flowers and leaves. Adhere leaves and flowers into place as shown. Die cut the ticket sentiment and adhere to card using 3d foam squares. Wrap ribbon and tie into a square knot. Adhere these panels to card base to complete the card.
