Hello everyone! Today I would like to show you a card I made using some new release dies from Spellbinders™ Paper Arts. One of my favorites is the Cherry Blossoms Shapeabilities®. The die set is just so pretty. Here is what I made!
Here is how I made this card. First I stamped the Woodgrain background stamp onto some Kraft cardstock using Old Paper Distress Ink.
Then I cut/embossed the die cuts I wanted to use for the card. I used the Cherry Blossoms Shapeabilities®, Card Creator A-2 Matting Basics A and Card Creator A-2 Fancy Weave. After cutting/embossing the cherry blossoms I sponged some Victorian Velvet Distress Ink around the edges of the flowers. I also stamped the Get Well sentiment from Fabulous Phrases using some brown ink.
I layered the fancy weave die cut underneath the card creator die cut for alittle bit of a different look. I used Scrap Happy Sheer Glue to adhere everything together. I added some Pearl Jellie Dots and a couple of rhinestones to the middle of the cherry blossoms.
So don't you love the Cherry Blossoms as much as I do? I can already tell its my new favorite. You can purchase these new dies at The Rubber Cafe' store. I have provided the links directly to the products in the store for your convenience. Hope you have a great day!
