Hello everyone! Hope your week is going great. We are getting ready for school to start in one week. I can't believe the summer went by so fast!
Today I want to show you how I made 4 quick and easy cards using The Rubber Cafe' stamps and new die templates from the Card Creator line by Spellbinders. It is so quick and easy to make these you won't believe it!
I picked out the die templates I wanted to use first. I decided to use the S5-131 A2 Matting Basics A and S5-133 A-2 Polka Dots die templates from Spellbinders™ Nestabilities® Card Creator line. Here are the ones I decided on. Since the Base Plate is so big, I can cut/emboss everything I need for a card at one time!
Here is what it looks like after cutting/embossing.
Now I need to stamp the image and sentiment on the corresponding die cut. I picked the Blossom Branch stamp for my main image. The sentiment is "Just Because" stamp.
I stamped the image using Staz-on onto some Neenah Solar Crest White. I used my Tumbled Glass distress marker and a water brush to color the image. I did everything assembly-line style so that I could get it all done faster!
I layered everything together and added the ribbon to the senitment panels. Now all I have to do is put these pieces together on the base of Kraft cardstock and I am all done. Here are my finished cards!
These are my first "official" projects for The Rubber Cafe' Dt and I am so excited to get started! I just love how quick and easy these came together. Using the Card Creator die templates really made creating these quick and easy.
