Can you believe its almost fall? This week two of my daughter's start back to school and my oldest will go back to college over the weekend. I just can't believe how fast summer has flown by! If you aren't quite ready for Fall maybe my card will get some creative juices flowing.
For this card, I used the new release, S5-148 Decorative Labels Eight. This is one of my favorites of this release. Oh, I love them all but this set is just wonderful. It enhances Labels Eight and makes even more options for these die sets. For this card, I made the base from Kraft cardstock. First I folded the card base in half. Then I used the largest die in the S5-019 Labels Eight #6 set to make a shaped-card.
Now that I have my card base, I cut/embossed S5-148 Decorative Labels Eight #4 (largest die in the set) out of Espresso Waffle Weave cardstock. I also cut/emboss S5-019 Labels Eight #5 out of ivory cardstock. These two layers are glued together and then will be layered onto the base.
I stamped the sentiment onto some Ivory cardstock and the cut/embossed it using the smallest die in the Labels Eight set. I cut/embossed more Decorative Labels Eight from the Espresso cardstock and from Gold Polish cardstock.
Before putting this sentiment panel onto the base, I tied some gold ribbon around the card. Here is what that step looked likes.
Once this is adhered to the front of the base, my card is complete. It really didn't take very long to make because I let the die templates do all the work! Here is a list of all my supplies! Thanks for dropping by today!
