Here is my project for today's blog hop. I made an accordian card (tutorial found HERE on SCS) using my wonderful Scor-Pal products along with the Really Reasonable Ribbon! There are some great Scor-Pal products in the RRR store so be sure to check them out!
To hold my accordian card together, I made sure that my ribbon could move around because that will make it easier to tie into a pretty bow. Here is what I did......
Before attaching the decorated front cover I made sure there was a place for my ribbon to slide? Clear as mud, right? This is what it looked like from the front.
Now its time for the inside! I kept things kinda clean because I didn't want my accordian to be too thick when folded. I thought the little tags in the pockets would be perfect to write a special note to your best friend!!
To make the pockets, I cut/embossed the S4-375 Scalloped Labels One from the orange cardstock and then cut that in half. I added some 1/8" score tape around the edges. Here is what it looked like before I put it in place.
I just cut two slips of white cardstock to slip inside. I stamped the little flower image and punched a hole for the ribbon. I added the two flowers and the bling to complete. Here is what it looks like when folded together and laying down.
