Bugaboo Digi Stamps & Flower Soft!

Today I have a project for you using some Digi Stamps from Bugaboo Digi Stamps.  This week, Flower Soft is sponsoring the Bugaboo challenge.  Starting today, the challenge is to make a card using Bright Colors.  You can check out all the details on the Bugaboo Digi Stamps blog.  Well, I don't know how bright my colors are but the digi image sure did make me smile!  It was so easy to add Flower Soft to the Bugaboo images and I had alot of fun creating with the digi stamps.  Here is my project:

 I used some Peony Pink and Ultra Fine Earth Flower Soft to add some highlights to the bow in her hair and in the middle of the yellow flower.  After printing the digi stamp, I colored everything in with Copic Markers.  I even added those little hearts using my marker tips.  The "bow" along the bottom of my card is from the Wild Flowers 2 Die Cut Dimensions kit.  Isn't that awesome?  I can add a bow but I won't have to worry about my card being bulky with I mail it!!

Thank You From the Bottom of My Heart!

Today I want to share with you a thank you card I made using the new Flower Soft Wild Flower 2 Die Cut Dimension.  For this card, I used the punch out flowers that are included on each sheet in the kit.

I used my dry embossing stylus to give the flower depth and added some Crystal Stickles to the middle of each flower.  The sentiment is from Our Craft Lounge set called Notes of Love (CCM104) that I stamped in Rich Cocoa Memento Ink onto a piece of white cardstock that I cut/embossed using Lattice Rectangles from Spellbinders Paper Arts.  Even the bottom patterned piece is from the Wild Flower 2 kit.  There are so many things you can do with these Die Cut Dimension kits.  Here is a close up of my project:

New Die Cut Dimensions Wildflower 2 from Flower Soft!

I have a new product from Flower Soft to share with you today called Die Cut Dimensions Wildflower 2.  More beautiful dimensional flowers that you can accent with some Flower Soft Sprinkles.  Here is what the set lots like!

Each package comes with 8 sheets (4 of each design) plus lots of punch-outs to make your own clusters of flowers.  Here is a card I made using one of these new designs.

I used my embossing stylus on the back of each little flower to give it some more dimension and then added some Diamond Range Gold Flower Soft to the middle of each flower.  I stamped a sentiment from Impression Obsession using Rich Cocoa Memento ink.  Here is a close-up.

 
 These packages of Wildflower 2 Die Cut Dimensions have alot of supplies to make a bunch of cards!  I will have a few more projects to show you tomorrow using these new products from Flower Soft.  See ya tomorrow!!
 

Having Fun In My Craft Room.......Finally!!

Before I got sick I visited my local scrapbook store, For Keeps Sake and got some really cool supplies.  The new Antiquities paper from Donna Salazar had just come in and I couldn't wait to play!.  What's really neat about these papers is that they are totally compatible with Spellbinders Lacey Pennant & Lacey Ovals/Circle dies.  I started on a banner using these supplies and unfortunately got sick.  But the good news is a finished it Today! I sure didn't come up with anything new - I used the idea from Donna Salazar's Blog to make this.  I also have had a Crafty Chronicle for so long it was gathering dust.  I had to take the pictures outside because the banner was pretty big!

 The woodgrain Lacey Pennants and the Lacey Ovals all came ready for me to cut/emboss on one sheet of 12 x 12 paper.  The kraft Pennants I cut myself.  The alphabet is from Pink Paislee.  The crumpled flowers are made from Donna's Crafty Chronicle and Blossom 3 die templates.  The instructions for making the flowers were inside the Chronicle!  I added some pearls and Ivory Tulle and it was finished. This was alot of fun to make.  I am going to drop it off at For Keeps Sake tomorrow.  Have a great day! 


 

Sorry About That!

So sorry I haven't posted in awhile.  I have been pretty sick with pneumonia and have been taking it easy.  I have been on a forced break from creating and its kinda been nice.  But now I have to get back to the grind stone ;).   I haven't posted the projects for my next class at For Keeps Sake on May 28 @ 10:30 - 12 pm.

The class is called Spellbinders Flower Power.  We will make some different kinds of flowers using different Spellbinders die templates.  Here are the projects!

After coloring the image with Copic markers, I highlighted the water around the fishing line using some Ocean Ultra Fine Flower Soft.  This was a super fun card to make.  I don't make many masculine cards so this one was really fun!!  Now it's time to hop to your next stop - Gini Cagle's Blog.

Happily Ever After!

Hello!  This week, Discount Cardstock, has a great sale!  The Posh Ivory Linen Cardstock is so wonderful to work with.  It's sturdy enough for a card base but works great for layers, too!

Here is my card using Posh Ivory Linen Cardstock.

This card is 5 1/4 x 5 1/4" square.  I stamped the heart image from Hopeful Hearts stamp set (Gina K. Designs) using Versamark ink and embossed it using clear embossing powder.  Then I added the small pearl stickers.  I used a Martha Stewart edge punch above and below the images.  The sentiment is from Fanciful Tag (Gina K. Designs) and stamped using Rich Cocoa Memento ink.  I added some May Arts ivory ribbon to complete.  It's a quick, easy and elegant wedding card, don't you think?

Here is my 8x8 scrap page of my oldest daughter, Colleen.  She is graduating from high school in a couple of weeks and this page is going in her album that I have been making for her over the last year. 

 

I used the OCL stamp set called Sunflower Seeds.  I thought the sunflowers went perfect with this picture of Colleen.  The picture was taken at a local historic covered bridge.  I stamped the sunflower image using daffodil ink onto Chamois Cascata Felt cardstock from Discount Cardstock.   Using distress ink and distressing tool, I distressed the edges of the strip.  I stamped the sunflower image onto the Chamois Cascata Felt cardstock using Rich Cocoa Memento ink.  I added some brown chalk in the middle of the flowers and after cutting them out, I sponged around the outside of the flowers.  I stamped the sentiment onto the Ribbon Banner and that completes my page.  Pretty simple and cute, don't you think?

Frilly & Feminine Challenge

Here is my card for this fun challenge!

 I used the Country Village 3D stackers kit for this card.  It is such a fun kit.  You die cut all the pieces using Classic Ovals Lg from Spellbinders.  Then you stack them together using 3d foam squares.  I added some Lilac Flower Soft to highlight the pretty flowers.  I added the sentiment from Vintage Roses set (Our Craft Lounge) to make this a Mother's day card.  Figure I could kill two birds with one stone, right?  LOL

Happy Birthday, Colleen!

Today is my oldest daughter, Colleen's 18th birthday.  I can't believe how fast time flies.  It seems like just yesterday that she loved Barney, going places with her daddy and playing tea party.  Now she is graduating from high school and in the fall will go away to college.

To celebrate the occasion, I made a super girly card just for my baby!

 
The patterned paper is from Pink Paislee - 6x6 Sweetness pack.  The sentiment is from a Gina K. Designs set called Floral Wreath.  I added the doily and made some rolled roses and its all done!  I sure hope she will like it!
