What do you do with your scraps? Do you throw them in a box under your crafting table and then only go thru them in a frantic search for that last little piece of "whatever"? Well, this past weekend, I decided to make some cards using things I found in my scraps. Here is the result:
This card is a 4 x 4 notecard. I used some October Afternoon paper I had in my scrap box. Its one of my favorite color combos! The coffee cup is from the Coffee Trio stamp from DRS Designs. The sentiment is a new release from DRS, too. I added some Crystal Stickles to the coffee and the steam. I used Labels 1 & Labels 4 Nestabilities™ for the sentiment.
Here is a card I made using some more things from my scrap box.
Everything but the base & sentiment of this card was in my box. The flowers are from a Spellbinders™ die called Flower Creations. The background is from a Cuttlebug folder. I had been at a friend's house stamping and scrapbooking and she had this folder so I used it on a few panels and brought them home and put them in my scrap box. The tag is Ribbon Tag Trio 2 die template. The twine ribbon is from my ribbon scrap jar! The sentiment is from DRS Designs. This is a pretty simple card and it was even easier because everything was in my scrap box. You should check out your scraps and see what is waiting for you to create with! I had a great time cleaning mine out! Now I just need a better way to store my scraps. Got any good ideas? Let me hear them! Have a great day!
