I needed to make a Happy Birthday card for one of the girls to give to a teacher and kinda ran into a problem. I really don't have any sentiments that say anything about a teacher! You should see the amount of stamps I have, too! So as I was staring around the stamp room, my eyes landed on my JustRite Stampers. Of course, I can use the Font sets with the Horizontal Wood stamper to make any sentiment. Here is what I came up with!
I started by stamping the Happy Birthday to You from the Celebrations Demi Phrases set from JustRite Stampers. Then using the Horizontal Wood Stamper & Special Occasion Upper/lower case font sets, I spelled out #1 Teacher. The apple image is from a Unity Kit Of The Month. I stamped the apple using Tuxedo Black memento ink pad and colored it in using copic markers. Then I decided a spinner card would be perfect. I haven't made a spinner in along time! If you need directions on how to make this card, check out Splitcoaststampers HERE for all the details! The background paper is from October Afternoon. I used some Scalloped & Classic Circle Nestabilities™ behind the sentiment and added the gingham ribbon along with the apple button.
I think she will like this one-of-a-kind card, don't you? Hope you have a great Monday! Tomorrow is my day to blog for DRS Designs, so be sure to check back!!
