So a couple of weeks ago, I commented on the Paper Crafts Connection blog. Guess what happened? I won a prize!! The new release Cosmo Cricket Material Girl collection! I got it last week but Monday was the first day I was able to crack it open and play! Here is a card I made using my new booty!!
The button and thread bobbin are chipboard accents and the sentiment panel is actually a sticker. What I did was stick it to a piece of white cardstock and trimmed it with my scissors. Then I was able to mount it using some 3d foam circles onto a Labels 1 Nestabilties™ cut from white cardstock. The twill is courtesy of my friends at Red Lead Paperworks. Don't you love it? I stamped an image from Lovely Labels stamp set (Gina K. Designs) using Melon Berry ink onto Kraft cardstock. Then cut/embossed using the Labels 1 Nestabilities™. This is both sides of one sheet of patterned paper from the collection. The base is Kraft cardstock and I layered the patterned paper onto some Melon Berry cardstock. I added a scrap of lace and some brads to finish. What a fun card to make, too.
