Here is my card for Today's Color Challenge on Splitcoast Stampers. The color combo is Tangerine Tango, Pacific Point & Summer Sun. I had some ribbon that kinda went with this combo, too!!
I used some new DRS Designs images I just got in the mail yesterday. You know I just love butterflies!! I stamped the Swirling Dots Butterfly in Tangerine Tango. I then cut it out using the Labels Large Nestabilities. I matted the image with a Scallop Rectangle Large Nestie and added the brads in the corners. I have used the Labels Nestabilities before and some have commented how they like the SU Ticket Punch I used. Its not the ticket punch but a very versatile Nestabilities set from Spellbinders!! I stamped the background using the Tangerine Tango ink onto Tangerine Tango cardstock with the Designs Dot stamp. I did the same for the base of my Summer Sun card. Its hard to see, isn't it? The sentiment is from DRS, too. I then highlighted my butterfly with stickles and put everything together. Ooops, why can't I remember to put everything together and THEN put on the stickles? Do what I say, not what I do!! LOL
