Today is challenge day on the DRS Designs blog. The challenge is to use the Dazzling Diamond Dust Technique. You can find a Dazzling Diamond Dust Tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers. Here is my card for today's challenge:
I made a bunch of these to use as Thank You notes for my book club friends. First I stamped the Coffee Trio image as my background using the Versamark pad. Then I stamped the Coffee Sign image using the Rich Cocoa Memento Ink pad and colored it in with a copic marker. I inked up the whole image with my Versamark pad and applied the Iridescent Ice Embossing powder. (Here is a tip: If you don't have Iridescent Ice Embossing powder just mix some Clear Embossing powder with some fine glitter.) I heat set and then cut out my image. I cut and embossed Classic Rectangles Sm Nestabilities and Classic Scalloped Rectangles Lg Nestabilities for the Coffee Sign panel. For the sentiment, I used the Espresso-ly Wonderful stamp and the Ribbon Tags Trio Shapeabilities. For those dew drops, I only had clear ones so I colored them using my Copic markers. I glued them into place using Mono Multi and then colored them. Fun! You can have any color Dew Drops that way!!
